THIS WEEK IN CABIN AND TRAIL

To sign up for any trip, blitz the leader of that trip with your DA$H number (make sure you have money in your account!) or saying you would like to pay in cash. Please also send any dietary restrictions. Your spot will be reserved once you pay. If the trip is free, just blitz the leader to reserve a spot. Financial aid is available for DOC members if the trip costs more than $10. If you are not a DOC member, you can become one by visiting Robinson Hall 119 to sign up.

When: 8 AM to 6 PM
Why: Mt Chocorua is THE BEST hike to do in the fall because it is a bald summit with amazing views of fall foliage. Come out to enjoy the beautiful mountain and learn how to pronounce its name!

Why: Help build a part of history at Moosilauke! We'll be working with alumni and others to build part of the Class of '66 bunkhouse up at the beautiful (and very much in the full swing of fall) Moosilauke!

When: 4:30pm on Saturday, October 10th to late night Sunday, October 11th
Why: 12,000 feet of elevation gain, 20 miles in one day, some spectacular views, some great people!

When: Sunday 8 am - 5 pm
Why: Most of the hike is above treeline and it's gorgeoussss.It's gonna be 60 degrees and it's not supposed to rain! It's pretty hard, but definitely doable. Around 9 miles and sooo worth it! What better way to end Homecoming??

What: CnT Winter Break Trips
When: The first and second weeks of December
Why: Come spend a week with CnT backpacking in an incredible area and making awesome new friends! Explore the outdoors in another area of the country. Escape from spending time at home without your friends (they'll all still be in school...)
