Hi all,

Rena Sapon-White '14 is looking for an intern either for the fall term or the entire year to help out with a documentary she is currently working on. The position is unpaid at the moment, but could turn into a paid PA job eventually. The job would require about 10 hours a week and can be done from anywhere. The intern would primarily be transcribing interviews using OTranscribe (super user friendly online software) but there are opportunities to be involved in future shoots, grant writing, and other development-related tasks.

A bit about the film: It's about a woman, now 34, who was born into a fundamentalist cult, who is seeking out family, friends, and other figures from her troubled past to reconstruct the story of her childhood. Rena Sapon-White is directing, and has two talented producers behind the project. Linda Goldstein Knowlton<http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0326150/>, EP, is known for Whale Rider, Code Black, and The Shipping News. Alysa Nahmias<http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3478084/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1> has had her documentaries air on PBS and Sundance.

Please provide a short cover letter about why you are a good fit for the position, as well as a one-page resume highlighting relevant experience. Applications can be emailed to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Best,

Mykel Nairne '16
