You’re invited to a conversation and pizza this Wed. evening with Brad Choyt, the new head of Crossroads School. That’s just up the road in Lyme, NH. He’s very interested in talking with DOC students about these opportunities for working on outdoor
education with the school, which might include some paid internship positions:
1)The possibility of designing summer programs in 2016 that would focus on place-based education or outdoor leadership.
2) Collaborating to design and create a low-ropes course on the 140-acre campus at Crossroads that could be used for students at the school as well as others in the community.
3) Designing and implementing curriculum at the school while working with master teachers and gaining classroom teaching experience.
