When: 8:30 am- 7 pm Why: It will be a challenging 9.8 mile hike but the weather looks beautiful, there will be awesome views on the ridge, and you will get to summit two 4000 footers! When: 4 PM - 12:30 AM //OR\\ optional overnight that will come back to Hanover on Sunday morning Why: Because what better place to view the fireworks around New Hampshire than the top of Dartmouth's favorite mountain! We'll be stopping for dinner at Whippi Dip on the way to the lodge, hiking to the top of Moosilauke to see the sunset, and staying on top for a full panorama of the surrounding fireworks. Moosilauke is a moderate, 7 mile hike with great views from the bald summit. Come for a Dartmouth and American experience all in one! One car will return to Hanover on Saturday night, and the other will have five spots for people who want to sleep under the stars near the lodge, returning Sunday morning.
