I went to Peacham today to get the loon nesting platform on Martin’s Pond fixed up. There were three loons on the pond so I expect there will be some territorial fighting going on. The real surprise was the (3) Red Throated Grebes on the pond too. They were still molting to their summer colors so looked pretty scruffy.
