The Language Resource Center at Columbia University is hosting a one day symposium that brings together members of various academic disciplines to highlight practical methods and pedagogical implications of engaging with the city around us in order to better connect our classes with the world in which our students live. This symposium is another in a series of conferences exploring topics germane to the teaching and learning of foreign languages hosted by the Center since 2011.
