I birded for a couple hours after work today and had a few good birds. I had about a half a dozen Tree Swallows over the river behind Golf and Ski in the area of "Johnson's Island". A walk along the western edge of the airport provided a Fox Sparrow and an Eastern Phoebe, but not the Wilson's Snipe I had there earlier this week. Back in Orford there was an American Kestrel and a single Ring-billed Gull in the cornfield just north of Reed's Marsh.
