As surely as the swallows come back to Capistrano, the turkey vultures come back to West Leb. Each year their number increases. Twenty years ago when I lived in Massachusetts, seeing them at Blue Hill, on Rt 128 south of Boston was a big deal. Inexorably they are moving north and in greater numbers. The black vultures are not far behind.
