The light morph Rough-legged Hawk was still present at the bottom of Stevens Road in Norwich at noon today. It was visible from Route 5, both hunting and perched atop a large, solitary pine ~ 200 yards south of Stevens Road and ~150 yards west of Rt. 5. A Killdeer at Campbell Flats and a flock of 40+ male Red-winged Blackbirds at Kendall Station were the only other bird of note. Chris -- Chris Rimmer Vermont Center for Ecostudies P.O.
