To share my 6 Vt/NH Rough-legged encounters.

In these past years and locations, A rough-legged was caught, banded and released

10/22/2000 was an adult female caught in S. Newbury, Vt along the Ct. River. Alpenglo farm on migration.
12/13/2003 was a first year male caught in the Champlain Valley
10/21/2004 was a first year male caught in Norwich south of the Colton Center along Rt 5 on migration.
1/22/2007 was a second year male caught in Lebanon on Labombard Rd across from F.W. Webb
1/1/2012 was an adult, no sex recorded. Caught in Charlotte, Champlain Valley

There was a W. Lebanon 12A RL, this well fed bird was around for a long part of a past winter, I did not band it, nor oddly did I note the year. Perhaps someone else might have that bird noted by year.

Great to see them in The Ct Valley. I bet the odd lot sneak thru every year, but you don't often get to see them or have them on their spring migration... good one!
