There is (was?) a carcass on the frozen Ompompanusuc River on rt. 132 about 3/4 mile from rt. 5 in Norwich. This Immature Bald eagle was having a feast along with 4 crows. Two Ravens were circling above, waiting for their turn. I imagine there would be more opportunities to see wildlife there. (Saw this on Wednesday 2/11/15). https://www.flickr.com/photos/33836164@N03/16516875762/ Cynthia Crawford *Creature Kinships and Natural Affinities* Animal and Nature Paintings, Portraits and Prints www.creaturekinships.com MORE PHOTOS and ARTWORK: http://pbase.com/creaturekinships EVEN MORE PHOTOS: https://www.flickr.com/photos/33836164@N03/ BLOG: http://creature-kinships.blogspot.com/ **************************************************************** To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
