I still see a Sharp Shinned Hawk every once in a while. It occasionally comes by to see if my chickens are out. They look a lot like a Coopers, but have a very long tail. They are amazing acrobats and watching one go through the trees at high speeds is spectacular. I saw one take a small bird from the bushes in my yard. Saw a streak, heard a soft thump, explosion of feathers and off it went.

I found a pile of Blue Jay feathers near my house today, and shortly after discovered the culprit eating it's prey in the woods.  I believe it is a Cooper's Hawk.  Other birds were kind of quiet this afternoon for a while!
