I drove to the Pompy Flats (Rt.5 and Rt 132) at about 7:25  this eve.  Took
a chair, just in case.

At 7:36 a spotted my first Co. Nighthawk.  Several more followed, all coming
from the River.

 

Counted 10 in all.  They were silent (no Peert's).  Very sweet as they
dipped and swirled right overhead.  Nice pointy wings and lovely wing
patches.

 

Yay !   Such a treat.   Watched for about 3 minutes.
