Subject: MAALLT @ FLAVA in 2014 and SCOLT in 2015

Do you live and/or work in Maryland, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, or Tennessee?  Are you interested in the future of MAALLT, IALLT's dormant mid-Atlantic regional group?  If so, there are three ways to participate in MAALLT's re-organization:

1.  Please send your contact information to Jeffrey Samuels ([log in to unmask]) or Sharon Scinicariello ([log in to unmask]) so that we can compile a new mailing list.

2.  Consider being part of the MAALLT presence at the September conference of the Foreign Language Association of Virginia in Williamsburg (http://flavaweb.org/conference).  More information will follow, but please mark your calendar for MAALLT @ FLAVA September 25 - 27.

3.  Plan to attend SCOLT in Atlanta March 5 - 7, 2015.  SEALLT is SCOLT's official partner, but there will be a get-together for current and potential MAALLT members.  The deadline for proposals is Friday, August 15.  SEALLT has graciously agreed to sponsor proposals by MAALLT members, too.  Just put SEALLT in the title and in the box asking about 'best of' proposals.  http://scolt.org/index.php/conferences/current-conference
