​This morning, a single mature Bald Eagle circling awhile above the dam at Union Village before heading south. 

Then, from the woods at UVLT's Zebedee Wetland, the sweet summer call of Eastern Wood Pee Wee, amongst the vociferous Red-winged Blackbirds we watched for so eagerly back in March, (and a plethora of exciting little critters along the Linny Levin Trail for Thetford Elementary School's enthusiastic little third-grade naturalists).
