The Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon held the first of two
Wednesday evening bird walks at the Union Village Dam yesterday.
We'll do this again next Weds - the notice saying this is Friday evenings
is incorrect.

Highlight of the walk was hearing (not seeing, tho) a bittern making its sound
(calling? grunting?) on 5 separate occasions.
