On a dark and dreary morning I managed to photography 10 warbler species along the Quinn Trail just west of the Hanover Conservancy Preserve main entrance. The most surprising warblers were a beautiful male Canada Warbler and a Prairie Warbler. Other were Black-and-White, American Redstart, Chestnut-sided, Wilson’s, Yellow, Common Yellowthroat, Black-throated Blue, and Ovenbird.
While there I also saw an unidentified hawk being chased by a crow, Great Blue Heron, pair of Wood Ducks, Eastern Phoebe, Tufted Titmouse, Cardinal, Blue Jay, Chickadee, Gray Catbird, Goldfinch, Song Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird, and a constantly chattering House Wren.
