An odd bird this morning...twice. A small pond this morning...really small pond... yielded a single male Common Merganser near the King Sanctuary behind the Etna Library. Then at my house on Dogford Rd a pair of Common Mergs flushed from my pond, a smaller pond... unexpected on such small bodies of water.
