Subject: [UVB] Blue-winged Warbler at Mink Brook

I stopped at lower Mink Brook on my way home and had a Blue-winged Warbler right in the parking lot by the electric sub-station. It never sang, but I got great looks as it foraged in an ash tree at the end of the lot. First Blue-winged Warbler for me around here in about 15 years (when they used to breed on Goodfellow Rd.). With all the winged warbler posts lately, maybe they are making a comeback! Also present around the parking lot were American Redstarts, Black-throated Green, Black-and-white and Chestnut-sided Warblers.
