Before the rain started here, I was able to bird for a few hours around town. Wow, lots of birds have arrived! Highlights were 4 Horned Grebes, a Pied-billed Grebe and a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher at the Jacob's Brook Outlet ( Richmond Conservation Land). I also heard an American Bittern at a marsh near the Schwarz Farm. Nine other year birds were at different spots around town (Spotted Sandpiper, Gray Catbird, Eastern Kingbird, Ovenbird, Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, American Redstart, Black-and-white Warbler and Warbling Vireo). -- *The Right-To-Know Law provides that most e-mail communications, to or from Lebanon School District employees regarding the business of the School District, are government records available to the public upon request.
