Hey everyone, They finally arrived! I walked out of my dorm for dinner and was met with the sweet sound of a group of Chimney Swifts, maybe 20 or so individuals, flying overhead. They must have just arrived, because I was out earlier and there was nothing overhead. As I write this I can hear the swifts calling outside. Also, I did a late morning stroll at Balch Hill and had several singing Black-throated Green Warblers, a Louisiana Waterthrush, and a lovely Blue-headed Vireo, among other things. And I had another Louisiana Waterthrush at the Dartmouth Organic Farm. The third wave of migrants is finally arriving! Cheers, Kyle Kittelberger **************************************************************** To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
