Went looking for Redwings and such in the Upper Valley. Nope.  Found a crow, 2 Mallards, big flock of Robins....on the ice under the highway bridge on rt. 132, apparently drinking surface water. At Campbell Flats in Norwich, I spotter 3 turkeys looking very awkward in a tree, trying to feed on some apples-maybe crabapples?  They dropped a lot. Then I noticed several turkeys on the ground eating the drops. Then 4 deer appeared and they also benefitted from the feast.  Quite entertaining.
