Good Morning-

This week, there will be a Wednesday lunch session on grading:

Faculty Learning Community on Grading, 12:30pm - 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2014

This session is a venue for faculty, new and old, to explore different viewpoints and philosophies of grading through a faculty learning community on grading, grade inflation, and grading's role in learning.  This is an ongoing discussion group, you do not need to attend all sessions to participate.

Questions for this session: What are the pros & cons for grading on the curve versus criterion-referenced grading? What is grading for? How do we do it well?

Lunch will be provided, please register at http://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event.php?id=538147

Have a great week!
