So we headed off as a family "early" yest  am...Dave Merker tipped us off to
our first Snowy Owl (found he and the boys at Farrell Access).

 

This individual was a first for all but me. Nice looks but fairly far away.
Then bumped into some folks who told us about another one down the road. 

 

Pulled into the Addison Town sand pile and fairly nearby was #2.  Sweet.
#3 was on a barn roof on Townline Rd.   Even better looks.

Misc others..MoDo, CoMe etc.

 

Then we ventured off to Waterbury Center..maybe a bit late in the day but we
had fine looks at a Northern Hawk Owl, as it perched atop a tree, turning
its head 359 degrees.  A first for the family  (I saw the one in Springfield
VT some years ago.).  A scope is always handy.
