As I think I mentioned earlier, I'm about to purchase a new MacBook Pro to replace the one I have that is too old to run anything past Snow Leopard. I have been running FileMaker Pro 10 on the old computer, and had thought to upgrade from v10 to v12 on the new one. Now along comes v13 and it having me wondering what will be my best option.

First of all, the issues with web access now being discussed are not a problem for me. I mainly use the program to maintain database files for a middle school academic league and use a lot of scripts (both FM and AppleScript) to handle things. While I do put files on the Internet, it is handled with scripts and using Interarchy to handle the up and downloads

What I would look for in an upgrade would mainly be improvements in scripting. Honestly, I doubt that I will ever upgrade after this again since I'm already 70 years old and not likely to need to.

So I guess my question is should I go ahead and upgrade to v13, or will I be best served by remaining with v10, or is there another option I should consider? Comments are welcome.

Thanks,
Charlie
