Nobody has mentioned kaltura.com so far which integrates with the major LMS platforms - Moodle in our case. We support it in the LRC on our iMacs. That has some limitations, but is still fun: http://thomasplagwitz.com/tag/moodle+kaltura. Definitely a plus: It's a university-supported tool - but don't fail to look into the privacy implications carefully. I am about to look into how Kaltura could integrate with our new ePortfolio initiative (implemented with Mahara currently).
