Dear Colleagues,

 

The Language Centre at the Cyprus University of Technology is in the process of laying the foundation for an MA degree in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). The program, which especially aims to meet the needs of in-service foreign language teachers, will focus on learning theories, pedagogical methodologies and technological applications with most direct relevance to curricular implementations. Throughout the program, the pedagogical approaches and technologies studied will be those which are used extensively in the MA courses themselves. Communication and information technologies, in particular, will be exploited to allow the course to be taught almost entirely in online mode.

 In order for the MA in CALL to best meet the needs of its prospective students, we are conducting a short online survey to evaluate key features of the proposed program.
