Many thanks, Þorvarður, for your piece of information, but even at such a discount FilaMaker is too expensive for me --I'm not an entrepreneur, just a private, retired, individual. So I mean to stick to Bento as far as possible, and if it becomes unusable at some point, will see.

No I haven't, Þorvarður, but I wouldn't be surprised at all. They are advertising Filemaker a lot, perhaps a bit too much. Now, Filemaker is too expensive...

Unless you only have 5 years or so to live, you will probably be wanting a new Mac eventually, and all the new technology that will go with it.  At some point AppleWorks and Bento, being discontinued and unsupported, will break when trying to use them with newer technology.  It would be wise to migrate your data to a supported application sooner rather than later.
