I walk my dogs on Parcel 5 in Norwich most days of the week, and though my purpose is not strictly birding, I try to keep track of what I hear and see (hear more than see.. tall and thick trees and having to keep on the move with my dogs make sight ID harder).  For the past couple of weeks, I have been hearing something that I don't recognize from any recordings or birding apps..

It is a very pretty little song, and reminded me the first time I heard it of a Brown Creeper.. I thought maybe it was an alternative song, but the next few times I heard it closer, and noticed that it ends on short buzzy note.  It is always in the same general area, so I think it is a bird singing on his own territory, and since it seems to end on a short buzz and I've heard other Black-throated Green Warblers in the vicinity, I wonder if that is what it could be.

I have an audio recording that I can send anyone who would like to listen to it. I sent it to myself and listened from my computer. it's not loud, but I can hear it.. (There are also a lot of little "pip-it" chip notes going on, and also wondered if anyone can tell me what those are while they're at it!)

Thanks!
