SANS Marks 10th Anniversary with State-of-the-Art Solutions for Global Language Learning

North Branford, Connecticut, June 2013--SANS Inc., an established leader in the development of instructional technologies for language learning, including the SANSSpace™ virtual language learning platform  and Sony Virtuoso™ and Soloist® digital language lab technology software suite, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.

SANS’ leading-edge product development, employing elements of both Sony and SANS technology, continues to be focused on alignment with 21st century skills for language learning with tools for real-world education.  Both the Sony networked language lab software and the cloud-compatible, SANSSpace virtual language learning platform incorporate functionality to help students increase proficiency by using authentic multimedia content and web resources incorporated into their listening and speaking activities.

As part of the company’s broad product development strategy, SANS has just released a SANSSpace mobile app for iOS® and Android™ tablet devices.  Now schools that use the SANSSpace virtual language learning platform or Sony digital language lab technology can give their students more opportunity for anytime, anywhere language learning.

“We can attribute much of our success to the dedication of our sales, marketing, product development and support teams in the U.S. and abroad,” said Ron Remschel, SANS president.  “Individual contributions and experience in listening to, understanding, and  conveying the needs of language educators and 21st century learners have played a key role in our continued product evolution.  It’s very rewarding to learn that a language program has grown or that students have been motivated and are more successful in learning a second language when using our technology,” he added.
