Hey everyone,
Finally my schedule and the weather aligned this evening, allowing me to go to Mink Brook. A lot of activity along the road, but suprisingly sort of quiet in the forest. Highlights included Warbling Vireo,Baltimore Oriole, Great-crested Flycatcher, Wood-Pewee, and Tennessee Warbler. My favorite moment though was listening to several Veery singing (such a pretty song) and calling near the start of the trail. One individual was extremely cooperative and gave me some great looks. No Empidonax though :-(
Below is the list of birds I had this evening.
Cheers,
Kyle
