I haven't been out birding much this spring but can report from my daily evening dog walks around Parcel 5 in Norwich that there is definitely no shortage of Hermit Thrushes at least at that location!  I haven't counted numbers, but if it's the right time of day - for me around dusk - I don't seem to go very far of the 2.5 miles we typically cover without hearing at least 1 song and/or contact calls.

I have been seeing a Hermit Thrush recently at Mink Brook, but I was speaking with a friend of mine back in North Carolina and he said he hasn't seen many thrushes, and they have had migration going strong for some time now. Might not just be us...
