After the intense flooding last year in Vermont, some peculiar chemicals spilled into the river, producing giant, seemingly harmless pussy-willow-like plants. This ring-necked duck fled in terror. It is not known  how the EPA will attempt to control this new menace, resembling it's namesake of the feline persuasion, but humans may well be equally at risk should they attempt to harvest these carnivorous plants from their neighbor's yards.
