Ah, well there were 2 males (aka Woodcock) singing last pm here in Thetford. Fortunately for us , they have been here for all of my 28 years.

 

They sing/ courtship from the field across the road.  Nothing like listening from the porch.  (and closer)

 

There was aerial combat, or a male dispute in the skies last pm, first I have ever seen.
