My policy for the last decade has been to add "ADVTSG" to most postings by vendors. This week one vendor complained that the posting #9988 Language Learning Scholarship should have been labeled "ADVTSG". I believe the complaint is valid - my apologies. Sometimes it is not easy to make a decision on whether a posting is plain advertising or a genuine contribution. Therefore, from now on, I will try to label all vendor originated postings as "ADVTSG" (i.e. advertising). This simplifies operating the list and is a fair approach to all vendors. Last not least, LLTI's policy remains. LLTI encourages vendors to advertise on this list, provide product information, requests and notifications in a professional way.
