Hi!
Is there any chance any of the backcountry skiing courses still have spots? Probably not, but if so I'd love to sign up!
Thanks,
Christie

Hi all !

Just curious about backcountry skiing?
Never tried it before and want an introduction to backcountry this winter?
Or, if you've already spent some time in the backcountry, are you looking for more experience, more interesting and challenging terrain, or ski company?

Check out the three different Backcountry Skiing P.E. courses (attached) that WSC / the DOC is offering this winter term!

**No prior backcountry experience or gear required**

Note: the Alpine Touring gear available for all courses lets you ski downhill just like you do on regular alpine skis, although telemark gear is also available for those who are interested.

For more stoke on the courses, check out the SmugMug photo galleries of the Northeast's backcountry and sidecountry terrain:

* Blitz the instructors listed in the advertisements for more info or to request an application. Sign-ups for the courses are now open via blitz (to the listed instructors). If you're interested, blitz the instructors as soon as you can, as each course only has 8 spots.
