Two pairs of loons were observed this morning at 10:30 on Post Pond. Two loons have been seen almost daily on the pond with a third occasionally being observed. It is assumed the aforementioned pair is the nesting couple that has inhabited the pond all season. The other pair seen today is not readily explainable. Not sure how the third sometimes seen figures in either.
