Hi Everyone! I wanted to pass along this reminder and update regarding this invitation to play at Wayne Hall's memorial service next Saturday morning (10 Nov). A huge THANKS from Jan Hall and her family (and from me!) to those of you who have already volunteered, and those who may still. 1. Currently we have: flutes, piccolos, tuba, clarinet, baritone, bones, and a percussionist from the family 2. We still could use some other "voices," especially a few TRUMPETS and PERCUSSION (snare). I'm hoping some of you amazingly awesome players will chime in, esp. if you feel you are under-represented ;) 3. We will be playing a medley from "March Masters" as a Prelude and short Postlude 4. Please show up at 8:30a Saturday with stands or lyres. Our "summer" dress (blue shirts, etc) will distinguish us as the band; ladies, if you want also to have a purple scarf (Jan's requested official color of the service to honor Wayne), please do so. I'm not sure of the male equivalent ;) 5. We'll be sitting while playing, in our slightly-raised loft at the rear of our church (no choir that day). If you have questions please email and/or see me at rehearsal tomorrow night ... in the HHS auditorium, remember? Proud of you guys!
