It's time to start planning DOC Trips 2013 & welcome the Class of 2017!
 *

Attached are the applications for the *Assistant Director & Directorate
Positions.*
The Directorate - led by the Director & Assistant Director - is the team of
students who work together to plan & execute the entire Trips program.
 These positions are very different than leading a trip or being on a croo, but
I promise you that the hard/fun work required will be extremely rewarding.

   - Applications for the *Assistant Director* *position are due **Thursday
   December 6th by 2pm Eastern**. *The Assistant Director will work very
   closely with the director (me) to make Trips a meaningful and enjoyable
   experience for the Class of 2017.  If you have led a trip before and are
   excited about making Trips 2013 as amazing as possible, you are more than
   qualified to apply!  This position is paid and requires full-time work in
   Hanover this upcoming summer.


   - Applications for *all other directorate positions* (see below) *are
   due Monday January 7th by 7:17pm Eastern. The Trips Directorate is an
   incredible opportunity to create a thoughtful and FUN welcome for the Class
   of 2017.  We will work together to shape one of Dartmouth's oldest
   traditions into a meaningful experience for 1000+ new students, and 350+
   leader/croo volunteers.  *There are many different positions on the
   directorate, so check out the attached applications for all the details.

*The 2013 Trips Directorate includes:*
-Trip Leader Trainers
-Croo Chiefs*
-Outreach Coordinator
-Sustainability Coordinator**  *(sophomores are welcome to apply!)*
-Safety Master**   *(sophomores are welcome to apply!)*
-Director & Assistant Director

*No prior croo experience needed for Climbing Croo, Connection Croo,
and Mountain Biking Croo (NEW!).
**No prior Trips experience needed for Safety Master or Sustainability
Coordinator.

 You may apply for more than one position.  The Assistant Director is
selected first and will participate in the selection process for the other
directorate roles.
