Some good visitors this past week.

Thursday -- Thirty-four wild turkeys foraging in a neighbor's corn field. Thirty-seven robins in another neighbor's yard. Small groups of robins (10-to-12) have been passing through daily.

Friday -- Sixteen canada geese passed over the home property in the early morning, and a ruffed grouse and 12 wild turkeys seen elsewhere on the grounds.

Saturday --Twelve wild turkeys visited. An adult bald eagle seen on the osprey platform in the Wilder WMA on River Rd.

Also observed several times over the last few days -- pileated wood pecker and small (10-to-12) flocks of juncos at home and in other Whipple Hill Rd. yards.
