Endured the rain this morning to search for American Pipits. A small flock is still visiting the corn fields below Simon Pierce in Windsor. Yellow-rumped Warblers were in abundance, along with migrating sparrows - Savannah, Song, White-throated, and at least one Lincoln's. The rain began coming down steadily, so I went home - and ended up seeing a great deal of activity just at my house, all the while staying warm and dry :) Sara - Hartland, VT My Place, Hartland, VT, Windsor, US-VT Sep 28, 2012 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM Protocol: Stationary 25 speciesWild Turkey 10 Mourning Dove 8 Downy Woodpecker 2 Hairy Woodpecker 2 Northern Flicker 1 Red-eyed Vireo 1 Blue Jay 5 American Crow 2 Black-capped Chickadee 5 Tufted Titmouse 2 White-breasted Nuthatch 2 American Robin 32 Common Yellowthroat 2 Palm Warbler 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler 2 Black-throated Green Warbler 2 Chipping Sparrow 22 Song Sparrow 9 White-throated Sparrow 18 Dark-eyed Junco 4 Northern Cardinal 2 Common Grackle 15 Purple Finch 8 House Finch 10 American Goldfinch 6
