Where do you live? I live in Norwich on Brigham Hill, and this morning I saw both a lone Pine Siskin and a somewhat ratty looking male Purple Finch, though I don&#39;t think they close. I have a female around too.. unless it&#39;s young, I&#39;m not sure how to tell the difference.  <br>

<font style>An out of season...siskin at our feeders this morning (26-July) around 9.  Followed shortly thereafter by a &quot;ratty looking&quot; purple finch...probably a young male as there was a hint of reddish on the wing coverts.<br>
