from Sangeetha Gopalakrishnan [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Greetings! A faculty member in my constituency has been annotating the letters of Beaumarchais, “an 18th century French author best known for his writing of the Barber of Seville and the Marriage of Figaro that Rossini and Mozart turned into operas”. These letters have some unique characters/special fonts (see circled portions of inserted image) which are not available in standard word processing options. The character set for the standard French language does not have these 18th century French special characters. Does anyone have experience working with these “18th-century French” fonts? Any insights about word processing options to create these characters would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! Happy Holidays!
