Hello all,
Recently, several students have reported problems with opening links to MP3 files a second time on our language center's password-protected website when using their iPads and newer iMac desk- and laptops. In other words, the links work fine for a while. Then, all of a sudden, when the user clicks on a link to an MP3 file that worked previously, a blank or error message screen displays and they lose their access to all the MP3 files.

In addition, normally, the log-in screen displays once only. Students enter their user name and password and remain logged in until they complete their session or close the browser. iMac and iPad users have also been reporting that the log-in screen keeps popping up again and again after they have logged in.

I have suggested opening and closing Safari, restarting, using another browser (earlier versions of Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.), but I was hoping there might be known fixes for these problems.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks.
Barbara Baraff
