I received this from an organization I worked with years ago. They have an
Apple system with the database on a server. Can you advise on how to
address this problem?

Hi Charlie!!!

We've run into a small problem with FileMaker. I'm trying everything I know
how to do, but I'm hoping you might have some insight as well. Here is the
background:

In February we upgraded to a new version of FileMaker (FileMaker Pro
11.0v2), and everything has been working fine up until this past Friday when
Martha tried to open the database and go this:

The file "WKC Database.fp7" could not be opened. (Permission
Denied)

When I choose to 'Get Info' on the file, under 'Sharing & Permission', the
Privilege says 'No Access'. I am able to click on it and change it, but when
I got back and try to access the file I keep getting 'The file "WKC
Database.fp7" could not be opened. (Permission Denied)' and the privilege
is changed back to 'No Access'.

I'm looking over some of the forums in hopes to find a solution. Do you have
any ideas?

Jenny
