It is not that big an issue.
As I understand it, you are saying that a recent .doc file opened in 2004 Mac Word is going to lose information when saved in the same Mac Word.
The issue of course is that Nisus is failing to give us straightforward filters for a .doc document that 2004 Mac Word can open effortlessly.
