Deb, you should be able to tell Photoshop directly to open the file using a Perform AppleScript step. Set the script step to perform a Calculated AppleScript and try this: "tell application \"Adobe Photoshop CS3\" to open file \"" & Photo Catalog::File Path & "\"" (You may want to tweak that a little in case your File Path values contain double quote marks, and to fail gracefully on errors.)
