from [log in to unmask] Hello, Just in case this might be of interest, I have placed back online a rather old introduction (with video demos) to a two part audio-video recording project (using Flash Communication server) called “WebSpeak” with which I was involved a number of years ago. It included an audio-video Recorder component as well as an asynchronous voice and video-based threaded discussion forum. I used the latter, “WebSpeak Discussion” (WSD), for a few years and it worked well, but I then changed universities and no longer had access to a Flash Communication server or the necessary tech support. http://www.gwu.edu/~francais/LLTI/ws/ It is all open source and if anyone is interested (and able!) to “revive” the project, please feel free to contact me. Below are the tech requirements for WSD. (If I recall correctly, the Recorder component had similar requirements, but used ASP instead of PHP.)
