This is a reminder about a bird walk first announced on UV-Birders on 12/16/10. A bird walk led by Chris Rimmer on Friday December 31, 2010, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM is to be the final program of the Norwich 2010 Birding Quest series. This walk is free and open to the public. Participants should meet at 8:30 AM in front of Dan & Whit's on Main Street in Norwich. Dress warmly, wear footgear suitable for walking on fairly level surfaces, and bring binoculars if available. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome. This walk is to be held regardless of the weather, but be advised that precipitation, fog, or high winds can reduce the number of birds found. This walk is to be a part of the annual Hanover-Norwich Christmas Bird Count (CBC) to be held on that day. (For more information on the CBC, see Doug Hardy's UV-B post of Dec. 22.)
