This morning two flocks of Bohemian Waxwings with a total of at least 90 individuals were along Elm Street between Blood Brook and Hopson Road in Norwich. One flock of at least 60 birds, not far from Blood Brook, was centered high in a tall tree from which individuals flew down to feed on fruits across the street. The other flock was separate, seen further up the hill near the intersection with Hopson Road, and included a closely aggregated group of about 30 Bohemians flying past and out of sight in a southward direction.
